STATEMENT OF FAITH

A Foundation in Christ
The ministry of MountainGlory! is built upon the fundamentals of Christian faith, and we proclaim the following to be true:

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God given to all people for the purpose of understanding the nature of God and being reconciled to Him through Christ Jesus.
  2. We believe in God the Father, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, three persons in one.
  3. We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, He died for our sins, is resurrected, and only through belief in Him can we be saved and have eternal life.
  4. We believe grace is freely given by God to all through the Word, baptism and communion, and His forgiveness is given for all who believe.
  5. We believe in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in His people, by whose indwelling a Christian is enabled with spiritual gifts to serve others and lead a more Godly life.
  6. We believe in the community of believers who love, serve and minister others through the power, gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.
  7. We believe the ultimate purpose of living is to know and glorify God, and as Christians, are called to tell others of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
